Pelton Wheel Flowmeters
The Litre Meter pelton wheel flowmeter was first patented in 1975 and has an established reputation for function and reliability. Flows from 0.01 l/min can be metered up to 28 l/min using our LM series range. Large flowmeters are provided utilising the orifice/bypass principle where a wide flow range is given and the ability to measure low flows is retained. The Low Cost PM series meters from 1/2" to 6" offer industry standard outputs of 4-20mA flow rate and scaled volume pulses, noting that these meters are approximately 50% of the cost of electromagnetic flowmeters. Pelton Wheel flowmeters are suitable for low viscosity clean fluids with variants in all- PFA Teflon for maximum chemical resistance and high pressure types to 800 bar at the other end of the spectrum.

Litre Meter Instrumentation
All of the meters in our range have either a pulse or analogue output. They can all therefore be connected to a Litre Meter Micro or signal processor. The Litre Meter Micro is an easy-to-use Multi-Function device with a display and back-lit identification segments providing information to the user at all stages. Flow rate, total, batching can be displayed. Output options include analogue, pulse, rate alarm and RS232.

Helical Screw Flowmeters
The helical screw flowmeter is a high precision meter giving excellent reliability. It is mainly used for viscous fluids but will also perform well on low viscosity fluids. The basic range of meters are in grey cast iron and stainless steel models are available. Flow rates range from 0.1 l/min to 7,500 l/min.
yd
Rotary Piston Meters
These meters are mainly used for viscous fluids for flow rates of less than 8 l/min. We specialise in low flow metering noting that the meters will return a rangeability of 1000:1 for most viscous fluids applications. Materials are 316 stainless steel with a variety of rotor materials.

Electromagnetic Flowmeters
Litre Meter market the Toshiba range of electromagnetic flowmeters and the Euromag range of electromagnetic flowmeters where cost effectiveness on size is most often the determining factor on choice. Sizes range from 3mm up to 1.5m. These meters are suitable for conductive fluids only but will handle fluids with particles, slurries, etc.

Meters For Hazardous Areas
All meters except the electromagnetic flowmeters can be provided as intrinsically safe for installation in hazardous areas to EEx ia IIc T5 or EEx ia IIc T4.
yd
Gas Flowmeters
Litre Meter market the Sierra range of thermal mass gas flowmeters. The range commences with small size "capillary" type meters and flow controllers from 0 to 10 SCCM upwards. Larger meters take the form of in-line bodied flowmeters or insertion probe meters. These last meters are available CENELEC certified EExd. The advantage of the Sierra meter is that it measures the mass flow of gas directly not requiring pressure and temperature to be measured and computed.

Adaptability Of Design / Information on specific requirements
Litre Meter have an engineering team where meter adaptions to meet users requirements can be made. For example, a range of flowmeters adapted for the off-shore industry have been produced. These are illustrated in our Oil Industry Flowmeter pages which have been included on this website this illustrates the capabilities of the company. Please also see our OEM page.
